Off the mat, the German Wrestling League assumes a clearer shape and demonstrates that it is on the right path. Thus, the central office of the referee is being held by Uwe Steuler from 01.07.2017. Uwe Steuler has been one of the best referees in Germany for years. He has attended several international championships as a combat leader, as well as a referee in final matches at German Championships and the Wrestling Association. Steuler is also a member of the Referee Committee of the German Wrestling Federation (DRB).

The German Wrestling League (DRL) is an association consisting of five independent Ltds, who are close to the top clubs of German wrestling, such as acting German team champion Germania Weingarten, but do not depend on them in any way. The DRL is commited to take wrestling awareness in Germany to a new level.
